Baby Boy Roehrig #2

Yes, it looks as though we are having another boy.

Today was my 20 week ultrasound and all his measurements were between 20W3Days and 21W5days. So a bigger boy, but not so far not as big as Nathaniel was (measuring an average of 2 Weeks ahead). Everything looks great all the parts were in the right spots and functioning well. He gave the radiologist a run for her money because he would not stay still for long - until it came to finding out his gender - then he was still and hiding his stuff. But she was good and got some pictures, which I will avoid posting on the blog!! :)

Anyone Interested?

Well, in the process of trying to sell our house, our realtor hires a stager to come in and stage the home. Well she did a great job, but it is definitely different then what we would have done to get the place ready to sell. These are a couple pictures of the upstairs before and after. I hope it works, because it is a lot of work to upkeep!!! So here are some pictures, just in case anyone wants to pass them on.

In other news, Nathaniel has graduated into a big boy bed. The only problem with this is that naps have become non-existent. He goes in for quiet time, but we have clean up time that follows. See picture below.

Also, Nathaniel has decided that his first chore should be the dishes. He loves emptying and filling the dishwasher, along with washing any dishes that are in the sink. This is great - he puts away the silverware and I put away everything else. He will be the helper big brother when the new baby comes. His daycare provider says that he is always the one that helps with the little ones and helps her make lunch. These are great things to hear, especially when we get the 'typical' 2/3 year old at home sometimes.

Catching Up

Well needless to say things have been a bit crazy around the Roehrig household. Between a new baby on the way and a 'wild' 2-year, almost 3-year old, we have also been trying to sell our house. Things at work were a little crazy for a bit due to the 'lovely' Science Fair. I never remember it being very stressful, but for some reason this year was CRAZY!!! So anyway, just thought I would update you all of the going ons of us. Nothing really exciting happening, but just trying to make it through those normal "we are 30, we need to get out life in line" kind of things. The above video is one of my brother and Nathaniel during our trip to PA. I decided to post it here also, for those that have not jumped on the Facebook train. I think it is absolutly hilarious and it always makes me laugh. Nathaniel still dances around like this everytime he gets excited. Oh yeah, and Ben he wants you to give hugs and kisses to Bubblegum for him (aka C3PO from Starwars.)

I will be posting more in the next couple days (hopefully), have a lot of photos to upload to the computer. And who knows someone may buy our house and I will have some actual news. If anyone knows of anyone who is looking, hint, hint - It is a great time to buy for first-time home buyers and our house is available!!! :)
