So all went well with the glue, he left alone throughout his entire nap yesterday, did so well with it in the evening and went to bed without bothering it at all. Then Eric goes in to check on him after getting home from class and finds that he has torn off all the glue. I mean all the glue, from around the wound and from the inside of it also!!! He never cried or made any sound of that it hurt when he did this. I guess he was bored.
We decided that it did not really need another trip to the ER, so we put one of the all around sealing water proof band aids on it for the night. Eric took the morning off to take him to Promptcare because our doctor does not do Dermabond in the office. Well this is what Nathaniel came home looking like:
The doctor did not want to put the glue back on thinking that Nathaniel would pick it off again. So he put some strips on the wound to close it then put the bandage on so that Nathaniel would not pick the strips off.
So we will see how this goes, so far it is fine, but we will see. :)
